I would like to publicly apologize being so frugal that I find it painful to pay full price for anything and hardly ever do. Yes, I admit it; I am a bargain searching, coupon cutting, sale waiting, hand-me-down loving, goodwill shopping, buddy pass using, kids menu eating, craig's list browsing, damaged discount finding, free-trial hoarder. And I absolutely love it.
What? But I thought you were apologizing?
Ok. Ok. I do love the thrill of saving money and of using things I got for free but I am also well aware that behind that half priced t-shirt or free bottle of shampoo is a hard working business that didn't get paid the full value for their product. So to them I say I'm Sorry. I'm sorry for using that coupon in addition to your weekend sale prices. I'm sorry for shopping at your very nice store, finding exactly what I want and then purchasing it at Ebay for half the price. I'm sorry for only eating at your restaurant during lunch or happy hour specials. I'm sorry for using your free trials with no intentions of purchasing once the trials are up. But most of all I am sorry because I will probably always be this way and will likely pass this trait on to my kids. So, I guess I'll go ahead and apologize for them too....sorry......
